Updates designed to help veterinary teams work faster, stay in flow, and communicate better.
This week marked an exciting milestone at VetRec. Throughout Release Week, we rolled out four meaningful updates focused on one goal: helping veterinary teams get even more value from VetRec in their day-to-day workflows.
From a redesigned platform experience to powerful new client communication and intake tools, each release was built directly from feedback we hear from clinics every day, and designed to support how veterinary teams actually work.
Here’s a recap of what we launched, and why it matters.
Monday: A Redesigned VetRec Experience
We kicked off Release Week by introducing a refreshed look and feel to the VetRec platform.
This update goes beyond visuals. The redesign was built to better align with real clinical workflows, making it easier for veterinary teams to move quickly, stay focused, and start recording without friction.
What’s new:
Alongside these workflow improvements, we also delivered faster processing and higher reliability, ensuring VetRec is always ready when your clinic needs it.

Tuesday: Outbound Emails
As client communication continues to be a critical part of veterinary workflows, we introduced the ability to send client communications directly from VetRec.
No more copying, pasting, downloading, or switching tools. Everything happens right where your team already works.
With outbound emails in VetRec, you can:
This update brings VetRec one step closer to becoming a complete, end-to-end veterinary client communication platform.
Wednesday: Smarter Client Communications
On Wednesday, we introduced major improvements to VetRec Client Communications, with a focus on accuracy, clarity, and usability.
What’s improved:
These updates help veterinary teams communicate more clearly with clients while reducing extra steps after the visit.
Thursday: Email Intake
To close out Release Week, we introduced the first part of the VetRec Intake Platform, starting with Email Intake.
Since launching Records Recap over a year ago, we’ve consistently heard the same feedback from clinics:
“We need an easier way to bring incoming information into VetRec.”
Email Intake makes that possible.
Clinical teams can now forward incoming emails, including records, referrals, and lab results — directly into VetRec. That information is automatically processed using VetRec’s AI into summaries and medical records, saving valuable time and getting information into the hands of clinical teams faster.
Email Intake allows teams to:
